FLIR Systems’ new BCAM SD is ergonomic, light-weight (550 g) yet rugged and very easy to handle and to operate. The camera’s enhanced sensitivity (0.10 NETD) significantly raises image quality and allows to display smaller damage on the large and bright 3.5” LCD screen. The BCAM’s measurement tools include color alarm, insulation alarm and the FLIR-patented dew point alarm which displays areas with a risk of surface condensation and mold growth before the real damage occurs.
FLIR Systems has equipped the BCAM with a built-in SD card which stores up to 1,000 radiometric infrared images. These images in a standard .JPEG format can be shared without special viewing software, downloaded to a PC and directly inserted into standard Windows® programs such as Word®, Excel® and PowerPoint®. The BCAM SD package also includes the ThermaCAM QuickReport software which allows for an analysis of the captured radiometric infrared images and the creation of reports in PDF format.
The camera functions within an operating temperature range of -15°C to +50°C and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. A long-life battery ensures 7 hours of uninterrupted inspection. The BCAM has been specially calibrated for the building industry and has a temperature measurement range between -10°C and +100°C.
The BCAM SD comes with a carrying case, power supply, hand strap, USB cable, user manual, power cord, battery, QuickReport software and a 128 Mbyte SD Card.
